Kind Malaysia 2023 Kicks Off the Year with Altruism and Hope |
Kind Malaysia 2023 launched today to much fanfare, drawing over 3,000 Malaysians from all walks of life with its message of championing kindness for the greater good. In its third edition, Kind Malaysia is a unique and one-of-a-kind platform in Malaysia which connects the corporate sector, civil society, and like-minded individuals to work together towards the betterment of society. The two-day expo, happening at Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), was officiated by Tan Sri Asmat Kamaludin, the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Kind Malaysia 2023, who commended the event for galvanising people from a diverse range of industries to tackle socio-economic and environmental issues faced by communities across the country. CCEC Vertical Named Champion of MACEOS Bowling Tournament 2023 |
The MACEOS Bowling Tournament 2023 took place on 22nd March at the Wangsa Bowl @ One Utama Shopping Centre, with CCEC Vertical winning the 2023 champion title, followed by CCEC Nexus in 1st runner up position and Evenesis in 2nd runner up place. |
Food and Drinks Malaysia 2023 by SIAL Organises Official Launch at MITEC |
Food & Drinks Malaysia 2023 a part of the Salon International de l’Alimentation (SIAL) Network, and organised by world-leading convention and exhibition organizer, Comexposium group, will take place from 4 – 6 July at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur. This will be the group’s debut in the Malaysian exhibitions segment, and the latest entrant to the food trade exhibition scene in the country. Present at the media launch of FDM 2023 was Asia Pacific CEO of Comexposium, Elaine Chia said, “We are confident that Food and Beverage Malaysia 2023 by SIAL will be the leading food and beverage trade exhibition in Malaysia and throughout the region, providing an international business hub for the global F&B industry to connect and facilitate business in the rapidly growing F&B market in Malaysia, as well as the larger market within Southeast Asia." |
Sabah International Convention Centre wins two awards |
The Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) has won the BrandLaureate Sustainable Business and Brands Inspirational Achievement Awards 2022-2023 for Services – Multi Functional Convention Centre as well as The BrandLaureate Brand Leadership Award 2023. “We are honoured and pleased to receive such prestigious awards from The World Brands Foundation,” said Rosmawati. “We opened in February in 2020 and went into lockdown the following month. We had to find innovative ways to sustain the convention centre as well as our team of employees”. |
ASEAN Business Communities Echo the Resumption of the 133rd Canton Fair Offline Exhibition |
Zhang Sihong, Deputy Secretary General of the Canton Fair and Deputy Director General of China Foreign Trade Centre, led a working group on a 10-day tour to three ASEAN countries - Indonesia, Malaysia, and Cambodia, as part of the efforts to publicize and promote the current status of the 133rd ("Canton Fair" or "the Fair") and to attract more ASEAN companies to attend, receiving wide attention from the business communities in these countries. During his visit to Malaysia, he has paid a research visit to Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center, and Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, as well as meeting local business partners such as ES International Event and other important customers in the ASEAN region |

UFI Asia-Pacific Conference 2023 opens in Kuala Lumpur |
Malaysia’s Business Events industry has welcomed 200 delegates from 22 countries at the UFI Asia-Pacific Conference 2023. Held in Kuala Lumpur, 2-3 March at the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau, the conference is supported by national convention bureau MyCEB. YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of tourism, arts and culture Malaysia (MOTAC), said that UFI's presence in Malaysia held a significant meaning to the overall tourism industry of the country. "MOTAC is proactively supporting business events activities that will attract. high-yield delegates to Malaysia and also promoted our country as an international business events destination. I am excited to welcome the delegates of UFI to experience our country and recognise the great work between MyCEB and UFI." |
